  • 50g carrot (about 1/2 small carrot)
  • 40g onion (about 1/4 medium)
  • 1/4 clove garlic
  • 15g toasted sesame seeds
  • 40g soy sauce
  • 30g vinegar (rice vinegar recommended)
  • 20g sugar
  • 70g neutral oil (such as canola or vegetable oil)

Instructions

Preparation 

Cut the carrot and onion into roughly 2 cm (about 3/4 inch) cubes so they fit easily into a food processor.

1. Preparing the Sauce Base

Place the chopped carrot, onion, garlic, sesame seeds, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, and oil into a blender or food processor.

2. Blend Until Smooth

Blend until smooth for a perfect consistency

3. Store in a Clean Bottle or Jar

Transfer to a clean bottle or jar and store in the refrigerator.

Use a neutral oil to highlight the sesame and carrot flavors.

Let it sit for a while before using to allow the flavors to blend.
