Changes to U.S. Import Duty Regulations

From 2026, regulations regarding customs clearance and import duties on goods imported into the United States have been updated.

Due to changes in customs procedures and tariff regulations, we had temporarily suspended shipping to the U.S. However, we have now resumed U.S. deliveries for customers who agree to pay applicable customs duties and related import charges prior to shipment.

U.S. Customs Prepayment Requirements for International Mail from Japan

We use Japan Post for all shipments. For orders subject to Section 122 additional tariff requirements, please refer to the table below.

Customs Duties and Related Charges

For shipments to the United States, the following fees may apply:

  • Import duties: currently calculated at 10% under Section 122 (as of June 11, 2026; subject to future regulatory changes)
  • Taxes and other import-related charges: variable
  • Customs clearance fees: variable
  • Payment/processing fees: variable
  • Any other fees imposed by U.S. authorities or customs-related service providers

These charges may vary depending on the order details, declared value, shipping method, and changes in U.S. laws or regulations.

Therefore, the exact additional charges may not be confirmed at the time of order.

Payment Method

For U.S. orders, customs duties and related charges will be confirmed after your order is placed, and a separate payment request will be sent.

Additional payments must be made via Stripe (online payment service).

Once payment is confirmed, your order will be shipped.

Please note that if the additional payment is not completed, shipment may be delayed or the order may be canceled.

Shipping Process

  1. Customer places and pays for the order
  2. We calculate customs duties and related charges
  3. An additional invoice is issued via Stripe
  4. Customer pays the additional charges
  5. Payment is confirmed
  6. Order is shipped under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms

Under DDP shipping, customers will not be required to pay customs duties upon delivery.
